Joel Lemke’s journey began in a small Oregon town, where creeks and lakes sparked a lifelong love of fishing and craftsmanship. In the late ’70s, he joined a family-run machine shop producing reel seat parts for Glenn Struble — a partnership that evolved into decades of precision machining and design leadership.

After 28 years with Struble, Joel founded Lemke Concepts to carry forward the tradition of American-made excellence. Since 2008, Lemke has been making exquisite reel seats trusted by builders worldwide — each one crafted with care, grit, and attention to detail, from manual lathes to modern CNC precision.
