This LC1 up‑locking reel seat arrives fully assembled with a .315" internal stint permanently bonded inside the insert. The stint provides a consistent internal diameter, making this seat ideal for fiberglass blanks and larger butt sections. Builders don’t need to ream, fit, or align the insert—simply trim the aft end of the blank (if needed) and epoxy the seat in place.
Featuring a hand‑varnished MAPLE wood insert, the LC1 blends simplicity with durability. Our stabilized wood inserts are clean and understated, though grain and tone naturally vary from piece to piece. The hardware is available in DARK NICKEL or BRIGHT NICKEL anodizing, paired with fine knurling and a handsome, classic profile.
