The LC25EX takes the proven LC25 platform and stretches it for true spey performance. Built with the same clean profile, dual locking nuts, and .740" insert fit, the EX version features an extended threaded body designed to secure large reels and maintain balance on long rods.
Where the standard LC25 uses a 1 5/8" threaded body, the LC25EX extends that to 2 5/8", giving spey builders the extra reach and stability these rods demand.
Each hardware set includes a matching cork check for fighting‑butt builds, plus a machined end plug—perfect for running the seat without a butt, or for finishing the bottom of your aft grip with a clean, capped look.
